I made this cake for my friend Kendall who was turning 17 years old. Having a sophisticated palette, she chose red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting (my personal favorite). This cake is covered in red/magenta colored fondant and the white flowers were piped in decorating icing. Using a paint brush, I slightly brushed the icing to give the flowers more of a petal look.
