We made this cake for our family on Thanksgiving. It is white cake with buttercream icing. We also wrote all of the names of the birthdays that we had missed and that we were celebrating. We covered the cake in orange fondant and then used different colors of fondant to create the design. The acorns on the top are made out of gum paste because, unlike fondant, it dries.
